Sensex ends 181 points higher; Nifty above 10,700

Equity indices turned positive on Friday after witnessing a two-day fall amid recovery in banking, auto and metal stocks. The benchmark BSE Sensex finished 181 points or 0.51 per cent higher at 35,695, while the broader NSE Nifty moved 55 points or 0.52 per cent up to settle at 10,727.
