Chidambaram wants to know why GST goals are changing

Former finance minister P Chidambaram on Wednesday raised questions about what caused the change in the "declared goals" of the GST regime, why it was being changed. His tweets came barely 2 days after finance minister Arun Jaitley hinted that the country might have a single standard rate of GST, adding that 28% slab would soon be phased out.
