Aadhaar judgement: What needs to be linked, what doesn't

The Supreme Court on Wednesday said Aadhaar is not needed for opening a bank account, or getting a SIM card and private companies cannot ask for Aadhaar details. Aadhaar is also not needed for admission in schools while as it is mandatory to link PAN card with Aadhaar and it is a must for filing income tax returns.
