Arun Jaitley returns to office, takes charge of finance ministry

Jaitley had undergone a renal transplant operation on May 14. Since his surgery, Jaitley has been staying in controlled environment as per the doctors' advice.​​ Railway and coal minister Piyush Goyal had been handling the finance portfolio in Jaitley's absence.
