99.3% of demonetised notes worth Rs 15.3 lakh crore returned: RBI

Rs 15.41 lakh crore worth of denominations that were demonetised were in circulation before Nov 8 2016 out of which Rs 15.3 lakh crore returned to banks said RBI in its annual report 2017-18. While counterfeit notes in Rs.500 and Rs.1000 denomination decreased by 59.7& 59.6 per cent.
